Welcome to Power of Jehovah, Chelmsford - Essex also known as RCCG POJ Essex. We are one of the parishes of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Which was established since 1952 with a mandate to take the gospel of salvation to the world. It is also a Bible believing body, where teachings and missionary approach emphasis holiness, love and victory in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God is Pastor E.A. Adeboye. RCCG have grown to over five thousand parishes spread around the world; with a membership of over three million people of different races and cultures.
RCCG, Power of Jehovah, Essex was established in March 2006 by RCCG, Power of Jehovah, Woolwich with less than twenty members in attendance. From 2006 till date it has been constantly growing. The passion of RCCG, POJ Essex is to see the growth and development of individuals. Most especially it is passionate about youths and committed in seeing the youths become champions and also helping them to maximize their potentials. Pastor Olu Awopetu is the Pastor in charge of RCCG POJ Essex.
The foundation of the church is prayer and teaching the full counsel of God. God has been using His church to liberate mankind from the oppression of the enemies. We are part of the end-time soldiers of the gospel.
